Invia was founded in 2006 by a team of smart card experts. Invia’s key members have more than 15 years of experience in the design and test of contact and contactless flash-based smart card products. Before joining Invia, they held various positions in smart card divisions of leading multinationals. Based in the South of France, Invia’s R&D team comprises 60 security experts, including 15 PhDs. Invia is a wholly-owned subsidiary​ of the Gemalto group since 2013.

Invia’s portfolio includes mixed-signal building blocks and cryptographic libraries specifically designed to protect System-on-Chips (SoCs) against security threats - eavesdropping, tampering, counterfeiting, cloning and reverse-engineering - while minimizing the area and power overhead.

  • IC Product Verification Engineer

    Description

    ​This position is part of the Product Development team.
    Your position will include both a role of pre-silicon verification engineer and post-silicon product engineering support as you will:

    • create the verification plan for the assigned features and IP sub-blocks.
    • write tests, debug and running regressions, merge tests for ATE compliance.
    • enhance the verification environment for scalability and modularity of various features and interfaces.
    • verify metrics and reports ownership

     

    In charge of verification lead, you might also drive junior verification engineers.​

    Qualifications

    PhD degree or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.w
    At least five years of professional experience in VLSI front-end.

    Skills

    The applicant's skills should include:

    • knowledge in IC design flow and verification tools
    • good knowledge of functional and code coverage, linting and structural verification
    • strong experience in non-regressions RTL, gate and back-end 
    • familiar with DFT and stuck-at coverage
    • adept in programming and scripting (C, Python and others)
    • conversant with flows and tools for logic design and/or functional verification

  • Analog IC Designer

    Description

    ​As part of the R&D analog team, you will contribute to the development of innovative IPs for secure products. Your main activities will include various technical aspects such as specifications, technology survey, concept development and validation, prototyping, IP packaging and documentation. ​You will be responsible for analog cell creation from specification writing to electrical characterization. Specification will be written in accordance with technical requirements.

    You will work in full autonomy during the front-end design phase and in collaboration with layout designers during the back-end design phase.
    You will lead the electrical characterization of your IPs. You will support the Product Engineering team during the debug of the IPs embedded in final products.​
    You may also be visible from the customers' side, in connection with Invia's marketing, through market needs enquiries, technical meeting, deliveries to the customer, field support, etc.​​

    Qualifications

  • Senior IC Mask Designer

    Description

    ​The IC Mask Designer will work in the R&D team and will contribute to the development of innovative IP for secure products with embedded Flash.

    As part of the layout team, the candidate will design analog and mixed-signal full custom layout based on advanced CMOS technologies, both at block and full chip level.
    You will handle all aspects of layout such as signal integrity, parasitic constraints, IP placement constraints and layout verifications.

    The candidate shall be able to work as a team, sometimes in challeging context while following the layout flow and guidelines.​
